Geriatric Society of India recognizes and honours those, whose work and contributions in their field have helped advance the cause of medical care and in particular geriatric care. For this either the society recommends the name or the member gets a recommendation and passes on the same for the final decision and recommendation by the executive committee.

Contribution in the form of academics or organizational in the field of Geriatrics.
Applicant must be a Life Member of Geriatric Society of India.
Good standing membership of 5 years or more.
Contribution in the field of Geriatrics / Gerontology.
